How do you fit it all in? 24 hours in the life of Tim Rogers

How do you fit it all in?

I am asked this all the time. I have a full-time job, I run ciChange.org Think Tank, and Curator for TEDxStHelier and have a passion for teaching and learning. I am a Triathlete who competes and a keen Rower and Kayaker. I also teach at FitnessFirst and BodyRox. I am also athlete Representative for Jersey's Commonwealth Games.

It's all about managing time and not wasting it. I can talk about priorities and flexibility, or the need to swap training sessions or plans around according to weather or emergent needs. However I think offering a snap shot of 24 hours may be more informative.

There is no rocket science, no magic. It is simply being organised. I have done this routine with 2 children and whilst studying in the evenings for an MBA. So the excuse ".. but you don't have to fit in with others…" doesn't wash with me.

In a family + study context I can come home between swim session and work (7:30am to 8:30am) and can be home by 7pm in the evenings for family and study time.

As you can see, it's possible. It is simply about making choices.
